Healing workplace culture through radical empathy and compassion
Cultivate Connection envisioned a future where workplace culture could be radically transformed through empathy, emotional intelligence, and trauma-informed care. Their mission: to help teams build psychological safety and stronger interpersonal relationships through compassionate training and tools.
When they arrived at Rarely Pure, they were operating under the name “Trauma Informed Care in the Workplace” — descriptive, but lacking resonance. Together, we shaped a foundational brand strategy and identity that honored their depth while opening the door to wider impact. Through strategic naming, messaging, brand language, and design, we gave their vision a voice — one that is confident, human, and ready to lead.
The result is a brand that’s clear, compelling, and deeply aligned — positioning Cultivate Connection as a trusted guide for organizations ready to evolve.
DISRUPTOR
WITH A CAUSE: Questions the status quo and shakes
people out of their ruts. Able to make
risk accessible because it comes from a
place of safety, intention, and purpose. A
force of non-conformity looking create
transformation for good.
CALM WATERS
THAT RUN DEEP: Caring, soothing, full of wisdom. Ripples
of emotion affect the surface but are
diffused without major disruption. Below
the surface there is knowledge and
perceptiveness that seeks to understand
the deeper truths. Curious, empathetic,
but self-regulated and balanced.
CARING
COACH: One dose of toughness meets
unconditional cheerleader; knows
strategies and techniques to improve
performance; helps you get back up
when you take a dive on the field.
Doesn’t yell or shame, but does push
you to step into your potential.
I don't know if I've made it clear but I really appreciate your work with us. It is amazing to me that you developed the branding material so quickly and that it really hits the mark. I observed that you were really listening to what we were saying but you also "got underneath" some of the things we were saying. Most people do not take the time or maybe don't have the skill to do this. Thanks so much!
